We now have 40 volunteers carrying out valuable research for the project. Our volunteers come from different backgrounds from students to retired people.
They all share a common task of investigating archival material from 1914-1918 to contribute towards the project.
Their enthusiasm for the project so far has resulted in articles for the blog, and opened up areas of further research.
Now that we have so many volunteers available to us we won’t be actively recruiting anymore for research purposes.
There will be other opportunities for people to become involved in the project as we move into 2014; either through sharing memories, records and artefacts, or through participating in a wide range of activities and events both on-site and in the community.
